Yip, thats why I say. If you were used to a N70 then any other N-series phone will be better. Even a N82. These guys that think the N82 is the bomb havent play around with a N95 yet. What to say about a N96.

i thought I read about some people upgrading from a N96 to a N82?

unfortunatel the N96 has the same design as the N82 which kinda sucks....thats why you just get the Omnia...if you ignore all it's flaws the it is a very good phone
Just because you dont know what you're talking about I'm going to ignore you. The N96 is a dual slidephone and the N82 is normal candybar phone. Look at the pics.

Now that is true. One of the reasons why im not a fan on N96.
Maybe the N95-8Gb, but the N95 shouldn't.
However, I am going to repeat myself - the N95 is a TWO year old phone - and I most certainly wouldn't be getting it now, especially with a contract upgrade.
BTW, the only thing that is better on the N95 than on the N82 is the screen - it is bigger, but with the same resolution.
N82 has a better camera, and the GPS works better as the antenna is in a better position.
It has to be said, again, that both of those phones are old and you should be looking at something newer - like 5800 or the N85.

Waiting is bad advice.
You'll be waiting forever.. There is always a better phone in the pipeline.
Todays imminent phones cost a fortune and by the time they are at a decent price, there is another phone to wait for LOL.

I'll be getting the N96 December and in March next year something else if I feel like it.

I'd wait a while if I were you - the way your budget is expanding, you'll be in the market for the best of the best in a few weeks

exactly, budget seems to inflate constantly with this phone thing.
just get the N82
or wait for the 5800, thats basically the only choice u have
