Hi All

Digicape currently advertise iproducts on contract with vodacom. Usually with a 3g and data.
The current mid-range 27" is on there for R6000 dep paired with a R1080 bucks payment for two year.

My question is: Anybody here have any experience with them? Or better yet with this deal?
A quick hellepeter on them shows a few scary experiences people had.

Anyone know of a better deal on a 27" currently?

Thanks

Just shy of R32000 for that spec machine? Ouch. Even if it comes with 1GB data p/m.

That's what I thought as well but at current retail of just shy of R26 000 for that machine it leaves R6 000 for interest over two year as well as the 3g data(not that its any use to me).

Perhaps consider a MacBook + an external 27" screen with mouse & keyboard?

You can even get a MacMini and a neat 27" LED Samsung for about 13k

As for Digicape - have only had good service from them. Bought a few macbooks there. One of them had faulty RAM. They sorted it out the same day.

Already have a late 2012 MBP...Very very good machine but I need a something to replace my current desktop(Piece of junk can fail any day). Ok thats good to hear. Hellopeter has very few good reviews about them. My current plan is to put it on a cc budget for 6 months. Its a lot to pay but atleast you save on interest.

I know you can also get them through FNB per month. Don't know how much though.

I take it you are looking at the md096 model, dion wired has these ones for 23k, md095 was R20 600, they changed the online price but the in store price may still be like this.

Jip its the md096. The 21" from FNB just doesnt seem to be worth it. Mac mini with a decent screen would be better. The 27" is just so darn pretty...

I will have a look at DW as its cheaper than core at the moment

Where did you see this? I emailed them and they don't know any thing
