If you got the phone from Vodacom, the settings should be on the phone, but you might need to do a hardware reset.

You can also download them from the clubimate site. Use the WAP2 set.

You sure you're SIM is provisioned for data?, i.e. could you work before?

Under 'Settings->Connections->Connections->Advanced->Select Networks' you should have:

a Profile under Programs that automatically connect to the network.

Edit this profile and you should see connections called 'vodacom' and 'vlive'.

The one with 'internet' as the APN is the one that should be highlighted.

I suspect your 'vlive' connection might be the default and (if you're on pre-paid) could stop you working over the internet.

Select the connection with the internet APN and try that.

If you don't have any of the above, just create them. A profile to connect to the internet and a connection with 'internet' as the apn. Don't bother with the vlive one.

That should get you working.

You are the man !!!! Thanks so much man you have been an awesome help !!

Not sure, probably a registry setting if you can't do it under Setting->Notifications.

Try and Google for a registry untility or else do it the 'old skool' way:

Find the sound file that gives the notification and copy the sound you want over it, i.e. give it the same name. I assume this must work.
