Hi there and thank you for your help.

iPhone 6; iOS 10.2.1
iPAD 2; iOS 9.3.5 and is up to date

Previously, iMessages I sent to anyone else who also has an iPhone, synced between my iPhone & iPAD. My wife and I swapped phones and I think it is since then that iMessages I went from my phone are not on my tablet. But, I can send messages from both devices but the messages don't appear on both devices.

When I send iMessages from my phone to my wife, she receives it from my mobile number. But, When I send messages from my iPAD, she receives it from my e-mail address I use as my Apple ID?

Something that also does not happen anymore, is that when my phone rang, it also rang on my tablet. This also does not happen anymore.

I had it working like this in the past and will appreciate it if someone can advise me what to do to fix it.

I don't use an iCloud account.

Thank you so long.

iMessages are linked to and associated with a cell phone number and/or email address.

On both iPad and iPhone in settings>messages>send&receive... ensure you have both your email address and cell phone number listed.

The incoming calls on multiple devices is called continuity. To activate this, on your iPhone go to settings>phone>calls on other devices... there you should see an option to activate this feature on various devices sharing your apple id...
