Hi there.

My international is dead, so I cannot even Google this :o

I need to move (import) my mail (.pst) from one PC to another. Problem is that MS Office 2002 is not backward compatible with MS Office 2003.

Can anyone suggest a way I can achieve this?

Thank you in advance.

The PST is in which version of Office. I assume it is in Office 2003 format, and you want to put it onto a Office 2002 machine. I don't use Outlook much, but if the 2003 machine is still working with 2003, then use that machine to do the work.

All you do is create a new PST file in outlook 97-2002 format, and import all your data from the 2003 format to the 2002 pst. (This is done in Outlook 2003). Once that is done, copy the 2002 PST to the new machine, and add that file to your Outlook.

Thank you for your quick response Graviti.

Your assumptions are correct. :)

How do I create a new PST file in outlook 97-2002 format?

Thanks again.
