how exactly do MTN work PayG charges because i thought that if you bought airtime and then converted them into data bundles then you had x number of MB to use, when i phone 141 and listen toi my remaining MB the voice on the phone says i have x number of MB's remaining on my 1GB bundle and R499 will be deducted from my airtime credit for my subscribed 1GB bundle on the 30th September but i dont have a contract on this line, i would like to throw this card away if i so wish, please can someone clarify the billing process and will they deduct R499 from my credit card on said date?

If it's prepaid it means that on the 30th September you will automatically be given a 1 GB bundle again for which they will deduct R500 from your current airtime credit. It has nothing to do with your credit card. If there's not enough airtime in Rands on your simcard left for the bundle, you will automatically go out-of-bundle once your current bundle is used up or going over its 30 day period.

You have the choice to load the bundles yourself when they expire. For that you have to "unsubscribe" to the automatic loading of bundles which it seems you are currently on. You can do this from the menu system.

if i dont have airtime left then will it just expire

The bundle "subscription" will expire yes.
1 GB is a pretty big bundle, make sure you use it within 30 days.

MTN PLEASE GIVE US CARRY-OVER!!

Carry over in my opinion is something I believe that needs to be implemented I just hope that it is but they are aware of the importance of looking at the above
