Importing Powerpoint into Openoffice

I have a fairly large collection of Powerpoint presentations (Office 2010) with embedded timing. Some of the presentations also contains multimedia links to videos or music.

Any idea how I can import those presentations into OpenOffice without relinking all the multi-media and retiming all the shows?

Or, if that can't be done, any Linux viewer that will be able to view the presentations correctly?

It opens up 2010 files, but the music link is lost, as are the timings. The same happens for 2003 files.
