Impossible to cancel my rain account

I am being held hostage by Rain. Their cancellation process is impossible if not non-existent. I sent a support ticket over a month ago trying to cancel but still haven’t heard back from them and the payment still tries to go through.

Why is the cancellation process so impossible??!
 
Was your account closure resolved, it is impossible to close an account!!

Follow my advice, I never heard from them again but keep your documents just in case:

Finally cancelled RAIN - Lets see if I keep on being billed...

So after 5 years of RAIN its time to call it a day...The last 8 months have been absolutely terrible with speeds often less then 5Mbps and constant disconnects and high ping. Initially RAIN was a good option as it was R500 odd for unlimited data but when you can barely make use of the network...

I've been trying to get hold of Rain support group for almost a week now
I Was owing R1 562 which I payed but deducted twice on the 26 February
Then again on the 01 March they took R625
It's a lot of money I need it back plz help

Lawyer up... Ask your lawyer if you can pin legal charges on Rain after the court case. Many people will tell you it is not worth it but until someone actually do this and actually get Rain in court for this stuff then and only then can changes start to happen. See companies are counting on people not taking legal action because it is to expensive. Well there is a lot of affordable options for lawyers look into them.
 
Any advice on how to cancel Rain one as I did it on the RainGO app and received an email that they will contact me and just nothing from there on no communication from them i did the cancellation request on the 16th of April 2025 already

it's been two month and same thing, I am a student and asked to cancel two month ago due to financial difficulties but the billing still tries to go through, I have not been using the WIFI and they still try to bill and I have a problem getting hold of support , they do not assist or help
 
It gives till death do us part vibes… nauseating
 
Looking for an option just to have internet for Decemeber at my parents holiday home. IS rain the best / only option as I head you can use it for a month then cancel but after reading this thread it doesn't appear so easy...

I too am having this issue, I have contacted Rain twice regarding this issue. I want to cancel but no option. The technical dep never gets back to you.
 
I'm having the same issue aswell , i will keep making tickets over and over until my ticket is the only one seen in ur system, help me cancel my sim card or i will keep making tickets , simple as that , and don't tell me you will come back to me because that's a klomp kak
