Wow, you should see this RAM i bought today! Made by Princo. Comes in plastic holder ensconced in a little cardboard box complete with a little pamphlet. Has this great big heatsink and looks like a million bucks! Has a lifetime warranty too.

I know, I know, for some of you this is old hat but where I come from - well I've been places where they just slide an unprotected module across the counter.

Not sure if trolling, or just haven't bought decent DIMMs before...

Not bad, but my RAM takes the cake:

So does my other RAM:

:( my 32GB (4x 8GB) G.Skill DDR3 1600MHz CL10 doesn't look that impressive, but for me it is just the amount of RAM that counts, because I often run out of 16GB of RAM!

Agree, and Ripjaws is awesome, it looks the name!

I had 8GB before, and now my system idles over 8GB with no VM's, yet I run the same programs... which reminds me of that steve jobs + bill gates comic..

steve: How much Memory does windows take up?

bill: All it can find!

You're doing it wrong, my lappie is currently sitting at 3GB in use with 10+ applications open and 12 tabs open in Chrome, idle is like 1.2-1.5GB (16GB installed)

Lol, not doing anything wrong, guess you're just not using RAM intensive applications.
