The Fishbone is a device that bonds an amount of ADSL lines into a single, high-speed connection.
So for example, if you take two 4mb lines (the true speed of a 4mb line is actually roughly 3mb) then that would give you a connection of about roughly 6mb.
It's true bonding. Not load sharing or anything of that kind.
And If you're considering it for home use, sure. You can bond anything from 2 and up.
Just be aware that you will be chowing through your bandwidth quite quickly with those speeds and the 1:1 uncontended unshaped bandwidth doesn't come cheap.
