RSAweb seems to have absolutely no one that can solve issues. I just keep getting transferred from one unhelpful person to another. The fact that my unit is named after an animal and does not have a number on the door has completely broken their system and no one is able to resolve this. I am also unable to cancel the order, their projects department doesn't respond to emails or answer the phone. How do I get them to release the line so that I can sign up with another ISP?

Two threads by the same guy? There is probably more threads on MBB complaining about Cool Ideas and Afrihost, than RSAWEB.
Sometimes ISP's are just bad like WebAfrica, sometimes ISP's makes a mistake, many times you just get impatient customers blaming the wrong people

Oh apologies you're right, I only now noticed both were from the same user :/

You are not alone. We foolishly decided not to take over the fibre in the house we moved to and choose RSAWEB (because of the reviews they had on MyBroadband :) ).
When they disconnected the other line, they had 51 up and 48 down. which is too small for us to work off.
The new RSAWEB has not got passed 500 up and 0.02 down (YES ZERO POINT ZERO 2).
We have spent more airtime on the phone with them than my husband has in the last 5 years.
They had us buy a new router, exact same download issue.
Now they are saying it is all VUMATEL and there is nothing they can do.
Previous owner on VUMATEL - different ISP - great up and down for years.

Now us, VUMATEL with RSAWEB and we literally cannot get past a 0.0x download speed.

RSAWEB HAS NO-ONE CAPABLE OF ASSITING AND HAVE NOW WASHED THEIR HANDS OF OUR LINE AND SAID IT IS VUMATEL????

Seriously, how did they get such a great rating here when they cannot get a previously working lline to carry on working???

I also mainly signed up because of the reviews on here and because they promised me it would take a week and a half to get fibre installed. It's been three weeks now and they still haven't been able to sort out an administrative issue with an address.

But at least it's 24/7 support :whistling:
24/7 sales team. If you phone their automated system and click for sales you can speak to someone instantly. If they need to put you in touch with the projects team, you are in for a wild ride.

Long hold times, empty promises to get back to you, lots of escalation to "the coordinator" (who, as far as I can tell, hasn't achieved a single thing yet). I get the impression the staff are just inputting my emails into some kind of chatbot and copying and pasting the answers back to me.

This was actually a swipe at someone else :)

Migrate to another ISP.

The power of My Broadband....
The problem was their side. They fixed a server error, and we now have full functionality up and down...

Yeah they went down again yesterday at 5pm and they still not back here on the south coast. You have about two minutes of internet connectivity and then 10 minutes of outage. It’s now two weeks since I started using RSAWEB and I’ve not had a single day where there was no issue
