Incorrect contract activated 2+2Gb

I signed a new 2+2 Gb data contract at CelluCity on the 1st March. I have used roughly 500 mb of normal time usage and about 1.5Gb nightshift usage. Today I found out that my data has been depleted.

I have read of another forumite that activated the contract and ended up with the top up contract instead.

What are my options regarding this stuff up by the store? Could the contract be changed?
 
So how was your data depleted and what contract were you signed in for? Who's mistake is it?
 
I signed up for a 1+1GB and was given a 1GB Topup instead.

I didn't care though, as I'm seldom up past 12 anyway ... and at least I can't get any surprises. I was a little annoyed they activated CLIP on a data account though - but Occie fixed that for me :)

If you're on top up it is safer than leaving a gap for the OOB shark to bite....
 
Thing is...that Night Owl is not available on the Top Up one...and I think this is the main reason why these guys wanted the normal 2+ 2 one.

That stinks. I guess they will have to use their owl eyes & watch that data as it ticks over...

Spot on there! The other factor is when purchasing an additional data bundle. On the top up 1Gb is R279 vs on contract 1 Gb R99.
