Incorrect DNS server adddresses allocated

I noted this evening that I lost all internet connectivity after dis- and re-connecting. I received a 197 range IP address, but the DNS server allocated by Cell C's DHCP was 10.11.12.13, which being a private IP meant the DNS servers were unreachable.

@CEll_C - looks like you have a basic configuration problem - please check it out

@hazman if you disconnect and reconnect does it assign you the correct DHCP range? Or does this just remain as a permanent issue?


ADDED: spoken to cell c they will be looking into the issue. either myself or Cell_C will post when there is a resolution.

I am having the same issue. Can browse by IP, but not address. Been having this problem since late last week and it extremely frustrating. It persists through disconnect and reconnect.
Please assist.

Mine just magically fixed itself yesterday evening. All is well again.

If anyone is having this problem still try using googles DNS for now (8.8.8.8). It will be a temp fix till this issue is properly resolved
