I tried again last night. -87db signal.
speed test local, gave me 80 ms
BFBC2 srevers down to 32ms was the lowest. my in game ping was 102-132ms

hope it stays like this for BF3. So much better than my 384k line was.
very happy at present with it.
This is so depressing!!
That is how my latency was in the beginning when I first signed up and for a month and a half after that as well, I think. You seemed to have started on the opposite end with a 100+ ping and then gone down

Mine currently sits on 100+ to the CT servers where it was once 35-45(CT Speedtest)
Considering that both you and yaeger are getting normal and in your case even better pings it's obvoiusly not a PE problem any more. My Telkom Business DSL also came right by it's self so nothing related there as well.
I sent a email to
[email protected] regarding my latency and my download which was fluctuating all over the place.
Four or three days later ,not sure exactly, a Telkom Technician(Elton) phoned me to ask for directions. Unfortunately I was at work at that time so I was not there when he arrived and did his tests. He tested inside and outside on his laptop, he was a few hours at the house running tests.
At the end of it all, he said all his tests passed, he was getting a stable 74 latency and a high of 4Mb to the JHB Speedtest server I don't think he tested the CT Server. If he was getting those results then I would understand why he said his tests passed. I take it for granted if his tests
passed then no more action will be taken with my "Problem".
Now the problem that I have is that
I can not repeat that 74 latency he was getting despite me going out and buying a new USB stick and using a different computer at the house to test it. My other problem I have if the 8ta(Telkom) guys are called out to to look at a problem, If your connection was VERY good but now is average....
Average = Pass
So how I see it is, if your connection was
very good in the first place and then went down and your looking to get that better connection back, then don't bother with
[email protected] <-----This is only my opinion mind you!
I would like also to say THANK YOU to Elton ( From sending a email to [email protected] ) for coming out such a distance and spending so much time running tests. They really surprised me I thought nothing would come from sending the email, my problem was not solved but still I'm very happy with their service
If I'm honest with my self and look at some of the 8ta speedtest's my current results are still better than many of them. Maybe I'm expecting to much, oh well nothing for me to do now I'll wait patiently maybe it will come back one day.
Sorry for the Wall of Text
