I'm waiting for a kitchen joke... come on people. Slow day?

So now their problem becomes our problem, because they couldn't supply us with enough electricity and we had to invest for ourselves.
Honestly think they are just complaining because their revenue is now declining (like DSTV).

Edit: They still have millions of customers anyways.
**I would love to know if FICK has a solar backup system at her home :)

So didn't read the actual article, nothing to do with decreasing revenue but actual problems with non dispatchable and unreliable power sources

How do other countries that have lots of solar, like Australia, manage?
Firstly it's only South Australia and they import it from other areas.Screenshot_20240929_103414_Chrome.jpg
Same as Germany

"If not adapted appropriately" sounds like someone has a job description.

Actually, an engineering problem. And she has a job title:

Isabel Fick, General Manager of Eskom’s National Transmission Company of South Africa (NTCSA) System Operator.

And I bet this lady knows a lot more about electricity than anyone on this forum criticising her:

I run everything electric. I have 4kw Peak draws for oven, geyser and stove.
Weird it's not showing on the results. Cause you should be easily drawing 21kWh a day with your array
