Incredible Connect

it is open because the select view are still buying/supporting them.
I work in PC retail and get constant complaints about the young staff who couldn't give 2 stuffs about customers (ignored while they play games / talk amongst themselves). When eventually one of them saunters over, they don't listen to requests, instead they try oversell top end machines to people who want to read email. Add to that their ripoff prices, I seriously cannot believe that place is still open.

Well we as members of this forum can only try to educate; but it is rather a struggle, if the general public does not understand the benefit of supporting the smaller businesses rather that the MWEB's Telkom's, IC's etc.

Generally, better pricing, service and more competition.

I resurrect thee!!!

Got to give some feedback here. I got given a voucher and its coming to an end. Got an email from Connect stating I can chose to continue with them at R19 per GB which so far is the cheapest prepaid I've seen. Prepaid works for me because I dont use much bandwidth. Im thinking of taking their 2GB option at R38. Im not a fan of IC at all, stay away from their stores due to inflated prices...but Connect as an ISP seem to be on the ball.

I used Telkom for bandwidth...horrid experience. Some websites didnt work properly and speeds were all over the place. Connect so far has been very stable, and have had no issues at all. Getting the same kinda speeds and consistent connections as I do with my Afrihost account.

So ja...will see how the rest of Dec goes...and might be moving over to them...odd, never thought I would say that...

Super fail buddy, super fail:

Terms and Conditions :
"All prices quoted exclude VAT unless stated otherwise"
"Payments are Cash Notes and Electronic Transfers (Conditions Apply), Company Cheques from approved dealers only!!"

EDIT: and some more:
- No Cash refunds on returned goods.
- A 20% handling fee will be charged off purchase price on returned items at current price (if returned within 48 hours)

But then again that is the general South African IT retail industry and its sad that companies like IC can actually become the benchmark of good service. I think I need to go back to retail.

This is enough to never let me ever support dc3 (and I am in the market for a lappie). I'm not the IC fanboi, but I can pay my Credit Card or Cheque card and the price I see is the price I pay. Its a big issue for me as I use to work for an IT retail store that use to charge its customers 5% more when paying by Credit/Cheque/Debit Card.

Hi, I am the owner of DC3 and very new to this forum so excuse me if I don't follow protocol. I would like to clear up some issues above. The terms and conditions stated here is very old. It is my fault and thanks to this post I realise that I also need to carefully update the less visited pages of the site. We do accept credit and debit cards. We do give refunds. We can charge handling fees if the product packaging was opened. Charging handling fee is our industry standard, you should know this, however we probably charged one client this year, only because of the state the products was returned in. All products on the website is VAT Inclusive accept the downloadable excel price list. I cannot verify that the HP that was said to be overpriced is true because it was long ago but I'm sure it was an issue of new stock new price and the website was not updated or was wrongfully updated. This do happen but not often. As anyone knows who bought from DC3 before the three DC3 sales guys and workshop guys are trained and qualified. I get an overwhelming amount of thank you emails from clients reminding me of the good job they do and how helpful they were. Should anyone wish to contact me you can by getting the details on www.dc3.co.za
