lol - yeah - he paid more, and lost a screen.

i would of built that thing into my case or something, and run a dual screen setup - putting all fancy temp monitors on it and stuff....lol :cool:
 
Hmm the deal on the 15,4 Samsung LCD is the same price as from Sahara, with a trade in of course.
 
Reason why I didn't buy from my local computer shop.
1. It was R 50 bucks more expensive.
2. I would rather have the 3 year warranty all over SA than in one town.
3. Incredible Corruption hardly ever argue when it comes to faulty equipment swop's or fixes.
4. I didn't want to go through the hassle of selling my monitor privately.

The 22 incher is perfect for my Mac Mini. Great for movies, picture editing and browsing the net.
 
It does indeed seem a good deal, if they really accept any old monitor. And it's for a good cause.

That thing is huuuuge. I guess it depends on whether you have a cheap monitor you want to give to a good cause, or if you want to look around for somewhere where you might save like 50 bucks here and there.
 
got an old philips 19" crt packed away in storage, and a 22" wide LG LCD for my pc. if it is a real bargain for the 26" i might get it, otherwise i'll pass. you think its worth it?
it could probably double as a tv for the bedroom if connected to an old home theatre system, with added mecer TV box thingie, right? might be cheaper/less hassle to just get a < 32" LCD tv though.
 
To bad I didn't grab one of those new T260's that someone was selling for R3000.

I'd take the Samsung over the 32" LCD myself. It is a thing of real beauty, and a quality brand as well...

Must say, this Samsung is pretty awesome. Dont know why I didnt switch ages ago...
