I would have forced a full refund on the new laptop and no other fees.
Guys, wow. Excuse the lack of grammer etc. I wrote this on the FB page, bunch of #### suckers
Just a warning to future clients, Incredible Connection in woodmead JHB are thieves that prey on the elder. My grandfather took his laptop in as he was having a boot issue, it kept going into recovery (I am a former IT technician and Director of IT), i was unfortunately away at the time and he needed to get it working ASAP. Obviously this is an issue with the boot sector generally and a simple reformat/drive replacement would have sufficed.
Well, not according to the technicians at Woodmead. 3 days later and a brand new laptop that my grandad had to purchase. When he asked for his old laptop back they gave him grief, he eventually got it back and handed it to me.. I opened it up as i knew EXACTLY what it was. It did not boot or post so i stripped it down to find that there was no Hard drive or RAM module. knowing how incredible connection work, i asked him to return and collect his outstanding hardware, where surprise surprise they said they made a terrible mistake and handed it back to him.
Anyway, because i have a life and Incredible sucks, i wont bore you guys. So in closing, the laptop works great now but he was told to buy a new computer so spent $$$ doing that. Rather get small IT companies to support your hardware, and dont buy anything from incredible deception... i mean connection.

took my non charging laptop to matrix warehouse. technician reckons after troubleshooting a bit, 'new laptop'. i was like, 'are you ....?'. packed up. R250 later with a youtube video and it was fixed. i fear for what they get up to with people who don't know any better.

According to Cambridge dictionaries, grammar is the study or use of the rules about how words change their form and combine with other words to make sentences. Although it is pronounced grammer the correct spelling is GRAMMAR.
Sorry, but had to do this -
Related to your story, though, not via Incredible C. but Hi-Fi Corp. Once bought a PC box from them, got an extended warranty for a 2nd year, and in the last month before it was up, the PC packed up. They took it in for all sorts of testing, couldn't work out what had caused it, and gave me a full refund. Was about R3,5k in those days.
Title failed to deliver
a bit limp imho
Yawn. I'll keep buying there.
