India plans first moon mission

I can see the bollywood movie right now. There will be a conservative astronaught, a (based off john tavolta from greece) astronaught and a princess astronaught. When they get to the moon they will all do a song and dance around the flag as the woman goes back and forth between them and picks her man. She will eventually settle for the john travolta guy cause his hair is cool, he drives a moon harley and he does not subscribe to traditional thinking regarding woman and their place.

What are the different astronaughts names?
america = astronaught
russia = cosmonaught
china?
india?
Eu?
 
so India dropped something on the surface of the moon, with technology as it is today i would have thought they would have dropped some guru on the surface of the moon.

India has to find education for it's people, and if it wants to impress, it should do something to benefit humanity, cure a disease, work on it's military or undergo groundbreaking research or something. Just not something that was already done, for the sake of gaining the exact same knowledge again, it's pointless.

India does not need to demonstrate flying to the moon, to impress others to buy satellites either.

Base on the moon? Whatever for? I thought they contemplated sending people to Mars, but base on the moon seems pointless as there is nothing
of value on the moon.
