Indicators not working (not a feature) ?

I am moedeloos.

I've managed to get the indicators sorted by just replacing all the fuses. Today my wife told me the cars lights are still on. Went outside and saw the break lights are on. Can't get them to switch off. Had to disconnect the battery. The front and rear fog lights also dont work.

Die kar is moeg and my bank account has chronic depression.

Brake lights being stuck on is usually a faulty switch on the brake pedal. Saw it on my neighbour's car, turned out the spring that holds the pedal needed adjustment. That was an old car, yours may be a slightly different fault.

Definitely a short or faulty switch
Dammit, looks like the rubber thingy has corroded. What do I do now ?

Now you know what it is. That part will have a part number. The agents should be able to get it for you. Visible at 1:05 on this vid:
Can't find spares anymore for this car. Front external RH handle has broken and they can't find a new handle anywhere. I'll check with the local spare shop but is not hopeful. Will have to be a home solution. Rubber on the clutch is also missing and they can't find one. So now it is just metal on metal.

Very glad I could point you in the right direction! On my neighbour's car the brake lights used to drain the battery overnight...

Edit: Old cars need a bit of TLC, and sometimes creative solutions. I have an '00 Camry, and fortunately parts are mostly available. Last month was power steering rigid metal lines...
