Infinity Ward comments on Modern Warfare 2 campaign length

Yip and now they can reduce the 14 million people to 10 million........


They can keep their six hour story line and the "WOW I want more..... 'BS

And sadly, IW/Activision thinks that buy piggy backing off steam, piracy will seize, HA! I'll have them know, I had all the half-lifes (I bought the box, only the cd-key had been taken!), so I called a friend, and in about a week I had pirated versions, and they worked online too (not sure how, but who cares).

If only consoles could have pirated versions, wait... (I'm guessing people are going to game pool now.)
 
O well guess i will get my game on the 10th of nov and not on it's official release here.

Pity as i love supporting companies who make great games that are worth the money, this however will take 12 hours to complete the download and the game :eek:

So true man, I was going to buy this game out of principle because of its awesome merit and insane value for money multiplayer and re-playability., but there seems no reason to purchase it now...

yap i agree, ill grab the nzb until some sort of local server comes up and the price drops by atleast R200....

1. Xbox console gamers have been using (Online matchmaking) system without fail locally. It's not the end of the world people it actually works well. It's the best multiplayer experience you can have on an xbox console.

2. 6 hours of gameplay: that could easilly translate into 10 or 12 hours depending on what gamer you are. Try it on veteran! and finish it. Remember the spec ops sections is a bonus and it equates to approx 23 sections that you can play through. this would keep you and your mates busy for while.

3. Infinity ward has not let us down thus far why not give them the benefit of the doubt.

PC gamers do not want the console type of online game play, they prefer and have used dedicated servers for years. Plus they took the mods away which is a major part of most pc games.

This is not a proper pc fps anymore. This is not the way it should be.
 
Geez! This is so friggen dissapointing! I've been waiting forever for this game & so far everything I've heard just reeks of FAIL!

Is it just greed or lack of thought & planning on the developers part?
 
no mods aswell, this game is gonna be one of the most retarted titles of 2009, no wait, most retarted EVER.

1. Have XBox gamers been playing 12vs12 COD4 matches in SA?

2. Yes, and you can play a game 10 times as well, that doesn't change the fact that it's a short game. CO-OP might be the only thing MW2 has going for it in SA.

3. Not yet, but nothing they've been mentioning relating to the PC release has given us ANY reason to be positive about this.

4. You need to up your ante, 2c coins are no longer legal tender in SA.

I'm going to hold out until November 1st. If they still haven't mentioned any "good" news about the PC version, my pre-order is getting cancelled.
 
COD4 was the only game I have bought for pc for the past two years and MW2 would have been the only game I would have bought this year.

I will now download it for Xbox burn it on a DL and play the single player campaign and then return to play COD4 and Forza3 that is all I need for now F@*k you IW :-)))
 
ill buy it, play on hard or veteran, at least that will give a bit more value for money.
 
We dont want the xbox version otherwise we would never have complained and bought the xbox or ps3 version anyway cause its the same price but there is alot more on the Pc version and one thing is I dont want to dictated to who I have to or not have to play against.

I think IW and activision just lost alot of fans in this country the past two weeks
