Inflation now at 4%

Lol  What a shame this is not reflected in consumer goods prices.

100% based on the fuel price then. So next month inflation will go up again, and then in April it will go up x10.

Now just the imagine the s**t the ANC will be trying to sell in the Budget speech today.....

South Africa's annual core inflation rate, which excludes cost of food, non-alcoholic beverages, fuel and energy, stood at 4.4 percent in January, unchanged from the two previous months and slightly below market expectations of 4.5 percent. It holds at the highest level since May. Compared to the previous month, core consumer prices went up 0.2 percent, following a 0.3 percent increase in December and below estimates of a 0.3 percent gain. Core Inflation Rate in South Africa averaged 5.04 percent from 2009 until 2019, reaching an all time high of 8.30 percent in May of 2009 and a record low of 2.90 percent in January of 2011.

how can we trust this 4% inflation, in reality its more like 30%,

but the ANC got to have those grants, and those moolas, so books get cooked to show 4%,

rinse repeat, and continue blowing hot air around saying all is fine and dandy.

Name one that hasn't.

Been paying same price for full cream milk (parmalat and clover) for over 6 months...

In fact, things like bread, most vegetables, bananas, grapes, etc haven't increased in price many months. I'll pull out old slips and check other items if possible.
