I have a few friends that live overseas. We stay in contact with each other by sending sms every now and then.

I would like to find out, where can I get a list of the International Cell phoine Networks that Vodacom SA have contracts with to send and deliver sms or mms messages.

The reason I ask, is that it happen to me that I have send sms's to friends and it work fine, until it come to a point where the sms's being not delivered, and when phoning vodacom, I get the answer that they do not have a contract to deliver or send the sms to that network. Can some one guide me to the list or the person that can give me the info of which International Cell Phone networks Vodacom does have contracts with.

I have seen from quite a few cell phone Network sites, that they have a list on their websites, where their clients can see the countries, Networks and the three digit starting number that they have contracts with.

Much appreciated.

Assistance-

The below link should give you the info you require - There seem to be a probs with the link, I just tried-last time I used it, gave country, network, network band, services offered, live date - and whether there is a bilateral roaming agreement in place-in terms of a bilateral roaming agreement, SMS MO and SMS MT must be operational.

If still no joy drop a mail to customer services, the have the list _ I am sure.

I've never managed to get an MMS through to the UK. SMS work consistently though.
