Info on 8Mb ADSL Line

I upgraded my adsl line from 4mb to 8MB yet.
Two Questions
1. Will the 8mb line be upgraded for free to a higher speed? Just like 4mb lines were upgraded to 5mb a few months ago

2. What upload speeds should 8mb lines get?

1. Not going to happen
2. Either ~700Kbps or 1024Kbps.

If Telkom's ASSIA system kicks in on the 8Mbps line,then you are likely to see the line sync at a higher rate.Its not guaranteed though.
Upload speeds would be a tenth of line sync speed as Johnathan56 suggests

To give you an idea, my line is syncing at 12.4 Mbps , my upload is 0.94

Drifter is paying for a 10Mbps line i think?Yours would boost to 10 or there abouts

Woke up to see the speeds have been boosted to 10mb
