Information Regulator issues summons against SAPS after allegedly exposing private data

Wow...how useless are these idiots (SAPS)?
Should be the Twat in the Hat on the chopping block...but no...he knows all the secrets of the cANCer...
 
Our neighbourhood watch visited a local SAPS

The detectives have a case-load of between 190 and 600 dockets. They are often provided inadequate evidence to process cases. One showed me his case docket for 8 cars stolen out of a motor showroom in 2019. The photographer had supplied the incorrect pictures, the USB drive with the CCTV record was provided damaged, the statements were unsigned and read as if a grade 1 child had written them, the cars were said to have registration numbers yet were unsold. The one registration number was a KZN number, yet the showroom is in Cape Town.

Yet the prosecutor reported this detective to the SAPS standards. He was summonsed to a hearing. At the hearing, only him and his lawyer turned up, the others forgot to attend
 
There can only be a few reasons why their info was sent out.

The main one being to threaten the victims in order to prevent any successful prosecution which means the SAPS are protecting the rapists/criminals which is not unheard of.

I hope they get to the bottom of this.

When you cannot even trust the law enforcers to be honest and to serve and protect but hey, the defendants will deny until there is a conviction, the same denialists that hold kangaroo courts and exterminate without recognized legal procedures.
 
She should wait until the criminal investigation is over and then ask for information and conduct her investigation. If she continues with pressure, the SAPS should charge her with obstruction of justice, get a warrant for her arrest, detain her and oppose her bail. She is not above the law and should not be allowed to act as if she is.

It feels like you're maligning the keystone kops by associating them with SAPS.
Don't denigrate them like that, they do good work.

I mean, how many can go out with floppy long shoes and squeaky noses and fall comically around while chasing striped black and white overall wearing "criminals".

At least they're not SAPS.
