Im not going to upgrade untill ps3 comes out hopefully that console will be better than pc's by then...
 
wait for the new socket AMD AM2 or the conroe chip from pentium they say that chips kicks amds 4400+ 64bit but... and it's only 2.4ghz

well i wouldnt recommend 4 gig ram for windows xp

but who knows maybe vista well be out by 2007 then it would work well

I'll get a better PC built up later on today, i dont have too much time to do it now. The Alienware is Nice but its a bit over priced. It will give you an idea though.

I know its nice to drop a load of cash.
PLZ consider that the performance gain to cost curve gets flatter as the price rises....and is virtually non existant and even so far as to say negative when looking at gimmicks like quad SLI.
I understand that my advice may be overlooked.
Quad SLI is a waste of money,don't fall for it,FX60 is a waste of money,dont fall for it,trust me,there are a millions things to do with your money besides waste it.
