so i have 2 adsl lines into my office. i call telkom i need a 3rd one. guy says it will take 6 to 8 weeks. now isnt the new "rule" it must be within 30 days??

nee k*k. i need it by friday!!
i just got off the phone 5 minutes ago ordering it. woman reckons my chances of getting it before friday is as slim as the prices dropping by 50% by friday 
which is why i reckon it IS in fact possible. i have 2 adsl lines to the same location already. its a matter of connecting it up. how hard can it be?
i shall keep you updated. problem is its a "short week" also...
do you know anybody that can make it happen?

We are to blame for this ourselves - by not flooding ICASA with piles of complaints when the opportunity arises.
Very simply: You know the regulations state 30 days. If you ADSL line is not installed in 30 days, lay a complaint with ICASA - it takes a single e-mail quoting your reference number. Remember to ask ICASA to rule for compensation such as Telkom having to install for free and provide free access at a rate of 1 month free for each day the installation was delayed beyond the regualted 30 days.
