Its good manners to let the body corporate know as the rules might state what needs to happen to rubble and the times the renovations can happen in. For putting in a bath there shouldnt be any legal requirements (that I know off) you only need to get permissions from the body corporate/users and maybe the municipality if you start breaking walls, adding walls (if above a certain height it needs to go municipality) etc. Hopefully the piping for the bath would be in place or easy to add, if the pipe modifications extend to the outside just chat to the body corporate too.

Don't have to remove the shower, there is enough space to have both. It's an old complex that was renovated so lots of space.
No walls etc neec to be knocked down. Just baffles my non plumber mind how they will do the piping.

The people don't really care because both of them run a business from the apartments and arent here most the time. 4th person is a renter owner lives in Ghana

Aah, fresh rules. Just remember that sectional title rules have to be registered (will need to find out where for you) before its binding. Subsequent changes will need the majority approval before it gets registered and binding again. Not sure if the size of the sectional title matters.
I know what my piping for the bath looks like and give you a diagram later today if you want? My piping was already in place when I changed my bath, so I didnt have to do any external modifications. Also consider that you may have to tile after you added the bath in.

I think they busy registering the rules and the only 1 is no pets...lol. These people don't seem very serious at all about tons of restrictions. Maybe ex-piping does exist because I think there used to be a bath that was removed- probably to save costs.
Yeah the tiling is probably just add some moola on top but I don't mind. It's hella slippery at the moment anyway
