Yeah, tried everything suggested but it just got worse, I even marked where the lnb was, reseated everything BUT no go.

Recommend a dstv satellite finder device as we have issues a plenty down at the coast and figure id just buy one.

I hav tried the tweeter device but found it difficult to get right and what to listen for as everything was high pitched noise.

Space Television has this one which is quite usable. Make sure the lnb is around 4 o'clock then if I remember correctly you turn the attenuation knob all the way clockwise and adjust the dish till the needle spikes then turn the knob anti-clock wise just enough so it drops back to zero then adjust and repeat till it doesn't spike anymore. Then do the same for the elevation. Then adjust the the lnb skew for maximum reading.
