Installing WoW from scratch

I stoped playing WoW years ago and now need to reinstall ... have any idea what the best install path is now if installing it from scratch?? with as little downloaded updates as possible

At this point you probably either wait till Cataclysm gets released and install off those DVD's or get an installed copy from someone.
