Ok i bought the i68 (might also be the i68+) when i was in the States because it was a touch screen phone. i want to install mxit on the phone but i have been having problems for about a week or 2 with that.

is there another application like mxit i can use that will work with my phone or at least one i can test to see if it works.

my GPRS settings seem to be ok as i have downloaded some games for the phone.

i am subscribed to them but still having problems the OS is a strange one i think its called Nucleus.

If you haven't got a whole list of contacts already using Gtalk would be a good idea. Ask Mxit contacts to invite you with yr email addy or add them as [email protected]

Edit: O, the x's are what their mxit number would be.

i have only my family on (about 3) but my wife and i used to talk every day on mxit until i got the new phone. so you suggest i check out gtalk then?

just went to the site and the CECT I68 is obviously not supported so now i need to find a compatible phone that has a touch screen like mine.

Use GTalk and get something like Fring. That's what I do. I can then also have all my Skype contacts on one application. Everything works exactly the same for your contacts. Your UI will just look a bit different, that's all. Even if you don't use Fring there must be some GTalk client for your phone.
