Instant payment to credit card

Bank credit card, transfer from same institution ie: absa cheque to absa creditcard.

If it's a third party, not sure.

Im with FNB and sometimes it takes a few hours for a transfer between my current account and CC to clear. But it should be instant.

Between banks it should take a day
 
Do the transfer then call the bank and ask them to clear. At Standard Bank I usually do this.
 
Your problem isn't the money clearing into the CC account itself, its the thrid party systems and how often they run and reconcile the balances. Sometimes its batch run at the end of the day, sometimes its a continuous process... you never know.

I am willing to pay extra money to clear the funds instantly takes less than 60 minutes but unsure about credit cards if they allow that
 
Um, what you can do is pay it to a cheque account at the same bank as the credit card, and that person can then transfer the cash into their credit card instantly. Just gotta be creative about it.

Being creative is awesome but if the account holder doesn't have a savings/cheque account they will have to wait a day. Tried to see whether it's possible to do an instant payment on credit card, not possible unfortunately. I wonder why though
