Intel Core2Duo E8500 3.16GHz CPU Bottleneck?

So I am selling my old Pc and one of my potential buyers asked me the following: "How upgradeable is that pc still? Graphics card wise especially"

So I want to know what is the max graphics card this CPU can take before it bottlenecks the GPU?

CPU: Intel Core2Duo E8500 3.16GHz
Mobo: MSI G31
Ram: 2GB 800
PSU: 620w Vantec

Any help will be appreciated

Probably 6870. maybe 6950. Depends on the game. Most games like quads these days.

i would go for hd 6850, some games really need a quad core these days though, like bf3 etc, but ya hd 6850 would be nice in the system.

recently upgraded my cousins 775 setup to hd 6850, really makes a nice difference though he has a q8300.
