Anyone got this chip? I'm not sure whether my CPU temps are acceptable or not?? and when using SpeedFan 4.35, I'm not exactly sure of how the CPU and Core0,1,2,3 temps impact on each other.

As per SpeedFan 4.35 approximately 30 min after bootup without running any applications:

System:33C
CPU:31C
AUX:27C
Core0:50C
Core1:37C
Core2:46C
Core3:46C

Just before bootup, I removed the optional fan which came with my Asus P5Q Deluxe motherboard, because I read that it could interfere with active CPU cooling...I have the stock standard CPU heatsink and fan. If anyone has this chip & is using SpeedFan, posting your temps here would be great...so I'd have an idea of whats acceptable. I'm going to run some games now and will update my temps here thereafter.

Got the same Motherboard and CPU with Zalman cooler and a slight overclock.
System:38C
CPU:20C
AUX:17C
Core0:41C
Core1:41C
Core2:38C
Core3:38C

System temp went up after upgrading to HD4870.

Realtemp results:
Core0:36C
Core1:36C
Core2:33C
Core3:33C

Same cooling on both chips and my Q6600 is cooler than the 9300 both not oc'ed, so who knows what temps are right :p

Buy a Zalman cnps 9700. If u cant afford it simply remove yr entire mobo and leave it flat on yr desk.

I have a Q9450, and the temp hovers about 20C according to SpeedFan. The individual core temps are in the mid 30's for each.

I'm using an Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro, along with Liquid Metal Pro thermal paste.

My system temp ranges from 39-45C, even though I have a 8800GTX in there.
