Time to resurrect this old thread, I think... Did the new Intel and AMD price cuts change anyone's opinion yet? Because it seems to me AMD is in deep trouble...

I think they are which should be a concern to all here. They have nice stuff on their roadmap, they just need to get there.

The problem is that they are burning cash at about $500 million per quarter and only have about $2 billion cash on hand. They need to cut costs and get the phenom to market as soon as they can. It's going to be a great CPU.
BTW: It also looks like AMD are planning to have their 32 nanometers ready at the same time as Intel.
