Hi,

I was randomly searching the other day the specs of my Wi-Fi card in my laptop (Intel(R) Centrino(R) Advanced-N 6230) and I saw it supports Intel Wireless Display.

I read you need to get a Wireless Adaptor to use this. Does South Africa have Wi-Fi Wireless display adaptors? I checked on online stores here and couldnt see it. How much would one cost if I had to buy one?

Use connectify, an Android handset and the VLC app to stream almost anything from your PC (win, mac, *nix) to your phone... Not yuor desktop though, but I saw an app once that can stream your desktop to VLC... or just use VNC.

For the Intel Wireless Display, that sounds cool and useful, but I haven't seen these in the online stores before.

Personally I use VLC to stream content from phone to PC (which is connected to TV via hdmi), PC to phone, PC to laptop etc. All running various OS's (W7, Ubuntu 11.10 and Android 2.3.4)
