IntelliiSense for Notepad++

Cool let me try that.

Notepad++ is being forced on us at school, down our throats for projects, exams and all. So I'll make it a bit of a more pleasant experience. We're told we will use IDE's (Java and Javascript) sometime next semester or 3rd year, but last year we did use VS for .NET.

Is this notepad++ a addon for emac :D

Unix people will know what I am talking about.

But is there actually an add-on for Notepad++ that gives you IntelliSense?

Cheers

So much effort, if only you used an IDE that is actually built for this purpose

It doesn't work that way, that's what I've been trying to say.

But I've installed it though.

Good to hear, however that's exactly how I installed it, along with another adding, Compare

I guess most Notepad++ users are using Plugin Manager. You can just go to Plugins>Plugin Manager>Show Plugin Manager and look for Fingertext to install this plugin.

However if you would like to install it manually or the plugin manager is not providing the most updated version, you can download the file “FingerText - 0.X.X.zip” at sourceforge.net . Unzip the package and copy the FingerText.dll to the plugins folder of Notepad++. This is the only file you need to run FingerText in Notepad++.

In Notepad++, go to Plugins>Fingertext>About to see the currently installed version and confirm that you have installed Fingertext properly.
