Has anybody setup an ADSL account on a Intellinet 300N Wireless ADSL 2+ Modem? I get the ADSL to connect on the modem and the LAN working that my PC can connect, but the PC via the ethernet cable does not connect to the internet. Any help, please?

Just modify your IPv4 settings on your PC's LAN adapter.

The IP address should be in the same range as your router's IP address.
The Subnet mask should be 255.255.255.0
The Gateway and DNS (primary) server should be your router's IP address

eg. if your router's IP address is 192.168.1.1
Then your PC's IP address settings could be like:
IP address = 192.168.1.2
Subnet mask = 255.255.255.0
Gateway = 192.168.1.1
Primary DNS server = 192.168.1.1
Secondary DNS server = 8.8.8.8 * This is the Google DNS server, so it's not ideal but it works great as a fallback

Hi Pada
The router is assigning addresses via DHCP, so the address is correct that I'm receiving. Could it be an issue with the firewall on Windows 7?
Setup the DNS as indicated, so internet connection is perfect. The PC can connect to the network of the router, but cannot connect to the internet through the router.

The Windows firewall should only block incoming connections and not outgoing ones.

Are you sure that you've setup the ISP account correctly on the router + enabled NAT on the router?

Please open Command Prompt and run the following commands and then PM me the results / remove the public IP addresses & MAC addresses and post it here:
Code:
ipconfig /all
route print -4
nslookup www.aardvark.co.za
nslookup www.aardvark.co.za 8.8.8.8
ping 196.25.211.106
Please remember to include your router's IP address too.

OK that is odd, seeing that you can lookup names on the Internet, but you're unable to ping.

Did you activate/verify your ADSL line yet?

Another thing that I've noticed is that you have 2 connections (LAN + WiFi) to the SAME private network. I would advise you to only connect 1 at a time.
