Hi there,
Earlier on today, I tried to make a video call from my Dad's Nokia 6680 on MTN, to my Nokia 6680 on Vodacom. It failed and said "Not supported by other cellphone or network." I also tried the same from my cellphone, and got the same results.
I phoned vodacom and some low-level support dude pulled up some help file about inter-network video calls being enabled on the 1st April 2006 (April Fools joke by any chance?).
I was then put through to higher level support, who knew nothing of this agreement, but he said that the problem was not on Vodacom's side (They allowed video calls to anywhere possible, and have tested them to Australia), but rather on MTN's side.
I have not yet been able to test MTN to MTN video calling, but I know that my Vodacom one works fine.
So, in conclusion, could the MTN rep. please provide some insight into this problem
Cheers, Nick
(PS, I waited for 15 mins on the MTN helpline today - after which time I hung-up)
