given up on calling telkom since they never help heres my adsl stats which look normal:
Upstream 512000
Downstream 4096000
SNR Margin(Upstream) 28 dB
SNR Margin(Downstream) 22.5 dB
Line Attenuation(Upstream) 4.5 dB
Line Attenuation(Downstream) 8.0 dB
But the problem is when pinging or tracerting or speedtesting it sometimes show high latency/ms then its back to normal again and this is affecting my gaming and disconnecting me. My isp axxess suggested might be a faulty port at exchange, but telkom wont do anything they claim everythings perfect.
Earlier for 4 hours it was terrible with gaming and stuff giving 1000 ms and 100ms to exchange
Also my internet disconnects once every few days then have to make a phone call and put it down as it tries to connect to internet for it to work (works 100% of time but port resetting doesnt)
