Intermittent Internet

I have been having intermittent internet disruptions for the past week!
I get connected for about 2 minutes and then it goes off.
It has been working perfectly for the past 2 years but suddenly last week this happened.
I am unable to download anything and even to send off this post has been difficult.
While I am typing it goes off and I retry connecting and when it goes back on I rush to get this post done.
I live in Riebeek West Western Cape.
If there is a problem I would think that we should be notified.
