Internation sites

called in at 9.03 and they gave the "incident logged 15 minutes ago" lie.

I can live with, "we aware of the problem and we're on it".
i cannot live with "we've only just become aware of the problem and we're on it"

To all the technical people out there, is there some software that can sit and monitor the sites u visit and keeps the DNS for those sites so that at a later stage when you are experiencing dns problems, you switch to the cached addresses and you're on your way ?

do i make sense ?

Dunno if it just started working now, but 5min ago it wasn't working and now it is... I'm definately not informed where this is concerned, but I saw DNS and ran ipconfig /flushdns and I'm online again... sometimes I know I should go buy a book on these things.

Mweb Dialup seems to be havving the same problems, so seems like its the seervice providor (IS ??)

YAY! ..I just hit my daily dose of comic sites (hey, a guy's gotta get SOME breaks! :) ) in one mass (16 different international sites) load - and they all loaded up perfectly, with no errors/can't load/site not found nonsense. Hell, for that matter I've got .torrent-action starting up, too.

For NOW at least, we seem to be in business.

Lol, it came back for a few minutes, then *poof*
..well, I've just "poofed" my way through my next en-masse site update, 14 sites' worth and it's still holding. Also, both my current .torrents are now running, and they had to reconnect/resynch from being down since sometime last night when it all dropped out on us.

Oh; FYI, I'm doing this from a MyWi512.

edit: oh, and gmail/elgooG are FINALLY working again!

Might be what you're looking for, though I haven't tried this program myself.

Yes, sentech = big problems!

I also couldnt access international sites up until yesterday, because yesterday i couldnt even connect (authenticate)! (Nelspruit). Left my dial-up redialing forever and still wouldnt get through to the access server! Finally this morning the problem was, i think, fixed! (it is a stressfull situation when u cant get to google, hehe).
