AFAIK they were going to removed the section between Mumbai and the Suez Canal. If the break is in the Mediterranean then everyone is affected (like last time...)

Seacom still have nothing of their own between Mumbai and Europe - it's SMW4 all the way from Mumbai or nothing. EASSy picks up SMW3 at Djibouti and goes straight through the Red Sea, so latency must be a lot better. Has anyone spotted any differences since it went live?
