Hi, I have a WebAfrica 30GB IS Local only account.
Not that this is a problem for me (maybe if there is an unexpected bill at the end of the month), but with this account I've got international connectivity. I can browse int websites, download int torrents, sign into GoogleTalk, MSN etc etc etc ....

Please, someone tell me HOW AND WHY ????

Are you not worried that they surprise you with a bill at the end of the month....??? go read the terms and conditions of use, they have got the authority to charge you for what you used....

Nope, I am not worried. You get what you pay for. Above that, its not your responsibility.

Hey ... where else can I get answers???? :sick:

I have the same account and I was wondering the same thing until I used up the 3gig int cap that this package comes with and am stuck on local only now. the package uses up the 3gig int first.

What's your usage sitting at now?

I am so happy that a fellow South-African can call someone who he does not know "an Idiot". Really dude, my hat is off to you for being such a nice person, and non-judgemental human being.

You try to bash me for coming to ask advise and opinions... Really!

I am at 2,1 Gig for the month now, U sure theyhave a 3gig int cap? It's possible, like openweb has got, but I didn't see such a feature when I signed up.

Trust me, my actual tone is not being reflected to you 100%, you had a question regarding being billed for it, so you have a legit reason to ask.

However your questions answers are available with using the search function, and many people out there will get way more aggressive about possibly mentioning a flaw in the system.

Everyone is simply worried about the "problem" being fixed sooner or later. The same thing happened with the free vLive internet on the Vodacom Broadband forums here on MyADSL.

So please do accept my apologies in terms of a direct assault on you as an individual, and idiot may be a harsh word of description indeed, but it is not that wise to post something which the service providers which monitor this forums can correct.

You and the hundreds of others that have come here in the past reporting a glitch they have encountered just wanting to know if its fine to also use actually cause the rest of the people that have gained some value from it for an extended period of time, loss of that service.

Everyone does this at some point in time, the word instead of idiot would be less knowledgeable of the end result and consequence. Im certain you would rather prefer to have the international for a longer period than it being cut because someone saw it on this forum :)

Yipp the guys from WA explained it to me yesterday when i upped my account from the 10gig to the 30gig...

10gig = 1gig int & 9gig local.

30gig = 3gig int & 27gig local.

The last thing I will say bout this is that THAT is not in my own and 5 other users experience regarding international on local.
