Anybody else's international dead (uncapped)?

Unshaped account here rpm, and international has been patchy for me too today. I have been on-line for most of the day, and have had odd patches (5-10mins at a time) of absolutely dead international connectivity. Hasn't happened before - I thought maybe it's a DNS error, but perhaps they have other problems - see below from the SAIX noticeboard:

As per our overseas provider, there is a cable break in Stockholm - technicians are attending to the fault.

Its was a bit laggy for a while about 40 mins ago rpm, seems to be better now.

Still laggy for me.

Ping to westwood.com shot up with about 160ms. to 490ms. with spikes as high as 1200ms.

on aDSL 192

Thanks for the feedback! Most international sites still off here...

Game site I have been using today, server is based in NY. Was lagging, now a constant 350-400ms ping. http://www.tdzk.net. But then I suppose it would depend on which side of the cable break you wish to connect to.

Still a problem here (Thursday 08:40)...anybody else? A few sites work (ie Yahoo, Hotmail etc.), but the rest off.

Now see what happens when there'e no alternative. If teklom break, were completely and utterly runied. OUCH. GOVERNMINT - What the hell is taking so damn long ?

PS - This is only happening cos I'm trying to download .NET2 Beta - the 3.4 GB one. Need it before monday, and that's the only reason that this is happening. I apologise profusely. If you want the network up again, send R500 to me, when i've got enough money, i'll fly over and write it to DVD at MS.

guys telkom is pissed off about the icasa hearing and are messing our adsl up

we got broadband but for the last few days no int sites grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

And still.. on IS ADSL, everything is fine :P

Well, I'm p00p slow here at work - even local sites are taking their time to load in.

Same here, even the mybroadband.co.za site is taking quite a bit of time.
