Western Cape / Web Africa / Limited International

Skype works as well as *some* international sites.

Using the cache.saix.net (port 3128) proxy enables Google & Yahoo to work. Msn messenger still not happy, but at least webmessenger.msn.com works...
 
Glad we have this place to find out if others are experiencing the same problems, we would never get answers like this from Telkom (Shot to all the other posts and MyADSL)

Reading all the posts above tells me why its not working already, just thought i'd add my name to the 'Mine's not working' list :) got same problems as all above.

Still ****ed in Cape Town, it was working fine yesterday but this morning all screwed again :(
 
Everything was cool yesterday in CT. This moring intl is farked. Who switched off the bloody router to recharge their cell at Telkom again?
 
Krugersdorp Telkom ADSL and Axxess ADSL works ok but with Secure FTP impossible to connect to UK Servers.

I BET that it's extreme shaping at the side of Telkom.

The gave you 20% extra speed on http etc, and take away 50% from other connections.
 
Mine seems working again tho with added latency +/- 35-50 ms to my mud i play. hopefully it will clear.
