International Down?

today's forecast: rainy offline, *****ty online. back to the news.

not sure if this was mentioned. i am using the AXXESS prepaid as a temporary solution. that uses SAIX. working fine.

Mweb changed their DNS servers and it seems i can browse again this morning. Dont know if that has anything to do with...well, anything, but my steam acount updated, so all seems ok.

Rumour is that telscum is concerned about losing so many customers to other ISP's and they have hired a pirate submarine to sabotage the Seacom route!!!

Out of gratitude the pirates have renamed the sub to the SS Reuben!!!

ROFL

Weird, I just lost international on my FNB spare account, and it is 100% SAIX - was working great all of last night.
In other news, the IS speed test tells me my line speed is 10552 kbits/s... O.o

IS acc here, international is down for me again. Was fine last night, so I don't know what the problem is.

Even after rebooting my router last night after the arranged saix backup link, I was unable to resolve any dns names. I had to change my pc to use an opendns service in the states. Thanks for the info, I shall try resetting my dns settings to see if I don't have to use an overseas dns server any more.

Edit: Nope, still not working for me.

That doesn't make sense. Try turnng off your router for 60 seconds (not just rebooting). Also try rebooting your PC to flush the DNS cache...

INTL seems down again on both IS and MWEB. I am back on 3G again.

This is frigging ludicrous!

Weird, i just went into my home pc remotely, tpb is up and it seems i can browse all over. I only saw the DNS ip adress changed when i went into my router to check if it was syncing last night. Go into you router and see what your diagnostic says.

dont think rebooting router will help me since i use PPPOE dial up through windows vista with axxess lite
