International down?

My Cybersmart and Afrihost is all down. WebAfrica seems to be working okay for browsing international and local...
 
Limited connectivity not even some local sites load (eg. Myadsl.co.za) here on Telkom and IS, had to post this using 3G.
 
International extremely slow, both telkom and cybersmart.

International and local were down on both my 8ta and Telkom ADSL. First the one then the other.

Just went back up. That said Telkom ADSL pretty much = 8ta. Not sure if it was the local exchange or just Pretoria/Gauteng in general.

MTN was still flying.

Wonder if this means Telkom had a mayor network failure/maintenance or another underwater cable failure.
 
Also experienced an outage from about 01:15 through to now. Couldn't even get to MyBB or Axxess' website. Everything seems fine now though...

Not just Pretoria then. Must have been a mayor Telkom network failure.

Which account(s) did you try?
 
Looks to me like something blew up at SAIX in Rosebank. Saw IPConnect and local and international links from there either dead or losing traffic. Will wait to hear the official story from SAIX... but things seem to be recovering.

seems like all the back back bones are compromised from IS... straight through to SAIX.. Shiiiiit....
 
Mine has been flying the whole weekend no problems here on Openweb gold/Internet Soultions PMB, KZN.
But the whole of last week it was slow for me.
