Get Your Act Together Telkom

I'm on IS 512 Unshaped and for the last 2 days or so, my downstream has not gone more than 8k - currently maxing out at 5K... paying a bloody fortune for this and unable to use it - I wonder if Telkom gives rebates *not* - and I can't even short-pay the account else they cut me off - very annoying, very frustrating and really bad for business - I'm off to find a Telkom truck to blow up... :D

Yup, downlink speed is no more than 5kB/s :'( fix it pls? maybe i should pay them as slowly too

...instead of making us pay per GB used on a non-existant service, maybe we should all band together and only pay them according to the amount of uptime we have at full throttle - if I have a 512K line and they charge me R1500 p/m, and the max downstream is only 5K for a week, should I not just be paying in proportion to the speed I'm getting? :p

...I think that's called "wishful thinking"... :D

well with the whole saix issues last and this week, i'm not sure how i will manage this month cause now last month i was below normal and this month i will definately be over if it weren't for a friend sharing some. Still if you pay per gig, whats the point when you can't use it due to slow links ?

I have been on ADSL from the early days...it was always slow, but.....
now the international bandwidth seems like non existent!!!!

GRRRRRRRR!!!!!
