Can't get anything resembling ADSL speed to sites outside SA. Tried on Afrihost and Incredible accounts.

Anyone else?

on mweb running smooth as usual, maybe a problem with your line or exchange?

Yep, having the same problem. Virtually no connection to international, on my mweb account. It was fine up to about 12:30

From the MWeb FB page

MWEB IPC services in the all regions area will be Slow due to a Browsing - International problem. Engineers are investigating the cause. As a result all users will experience a degraded service during this time.

Had similar hassles with my AH account to international. Really sluggish.

Seacom anyone? I reckon that's the problem as usual :D My WA account is going along fine, AH isn't.

Im on cybersmart and International is completely dead. Nothing on their website about it either of course nor what the problem is.

There is a recorded message in the Cybersmart helpline that says they're working on it.
No international connectivity.

its not affecting everyone though, im on mweb uncapped.... downloads running full speed all morning :)

My internet is also very slow. I cannot even play wow. Went online and lagging big time. Sent AH a ticket to investigate.

My Afrihost is running very smoothly, getting full line speeds. :D

Local - http://www.speedtest.net/result/1523585810.png

International - Download Speed: 400 kbps (50 KB/sec transfer rate)
Upload Speed: 99 kbps (12.4 KB/sec transfer rate)
Latency: 325 ms

Just look at that download speed on a 384kbps line. :)

I contacted AH, and gave them all my speeds, it seems to be a bit faster now:

Not sure if they did something, but I will monitor this very closely now.
